Persona 4 Revival Social Links: party members, Arcana, schedule

A Social Link in Persona 4 Revival is a relationship bond between the protagonist Yu Narukami and a person in Inaba. Spending time with that person ranks the link up across ten ranks, and each rank gives a stronger Persona fusion bonus when you create a Persona of that person's Arcana inside the Velvet Room. Persona 4 Revival carries the term "Social Link" forward from the original Persona 4 release; the Persona 5 series renames the same mechanic to "Confidant", which is why Persona 4 Revival players searching for romance guides should use the Social Link label rather than the Confidant label.

Social Links versus Confidants

If you have played Persona 5 Royal and are searching for the same mechanic in Persona 4 Revival, look for "Social Link", not "Confidant". The mechanics are spiritually identical, but P4R uses the older name and the older schedule. How Social Links affect Persona fusion

Every Social Link ranks up across ten ranks. ATLUS has confirmed the Investigation Team's Arcana assignments for Persona 4 Revival through the Sega P4R character pages. Each confirmed party member Social Link pairs a known character with a specific Arcana, and the pairing follows the Persona 4 Golden structure that P4R is remaking.

Yu Narukami and the Fool, Jester, Aeon, and Sun Arcanas

Yu Narukami is the Wild Card protagonist. His own Social Link is the Fool Arcana, and he is the linchpin for every other Arcana because the Wild Card lets him fuse any Persona. Yu is also the bridge into the Jester (Adachi) Social Link, the Aeon (Marie) Social Link, and the Hierophant (Dojima) Social Link, all three of which route through NPCs rather than through party members.

Yosuke Hanamura and the Magician Arcana

Yosuke is the Magician Arcana partner. His Persona is Jiraiya, a Wind-element caster, and his Social Link is the primary romance option through the Magician route in P4G. Yosuke's English voice actor in P4R is Paul Castro Jr., with Shoutarou Morikubo returning for Japanese.

Chie Satonaka and the Chariot Arcana

Chie is the Chariot Arcana partner. Her Persona is Tomoe, a Physical-line fighter, and her Social Link tracks her friendship arc with Yu across the year in Inaba. Anne Yatco voices Chie in P4R's English dub; Yui Horie reprises the Japanese role.

Yukiko Amagi and the Priestess Arcana

Yukiko is the Priestess Arcana partner. Her Persona is Konohana Sakuya, a Fire-element caster, and her Social Link runs in parallel with the Yukiko's Castle rescue arc. Brianna Knickerbocker voices Yukiko in P4R's English dub; Ami Koshimizu returns for Japanese.

Marie and the Aeon Arcana

Marie is the Aeon Arcana partner introduced in Persona 4 Golden. Her Persona is Kaguya, a Light-element Persona, and her Social Link is the trigger for the Golden ending requirements in P4G. Ari Thrash voices Marie in P4R's English dub; Kana Hanazawa returns for Japanese.

Auto-rank Social Links are the relationships that rank up on their own when you meet certain gameplay conditions, without the time-block commitments that party-member Social Links require. Persona 4 Golden's auto-rank structure carries into the P4R reference structure.

Hermit, Strength, and Fortune auto-rank links

The Hermit (Fox), Strength (Kou Ichijo / Daisuke Nagase via Basketball or Soccer Club), and Fortune (Rise) Social Links all auto-rank up in P4G when their gameplay conditions are met. The Fox arcana link ranks when the player visits the shrine in the rain; the Justice (Nanako) link ranks via the plant-feeding mechanic at the Dojima Residence; the Fortune link ranks through the story progression of Rise's role on the Investigation Team.

Supporting cast Social Links

The supporting cast in P4G adds dozens of additional Social Links across the town: the Tower (Kanji), Lovers (Rise), Hermit (Fox), Hierophant (Dojima), Moon (Ai Ebihara), Temperance (Eri Minami), Devil (Sayoko Uehara), and many more. Persona 4 Revival inherits the supporting cast structure, but the Sega P4R character pages have only confirmed the party's Arcana assignments so far.

ATLUS has confirmed via YouTube Shorts clips and the P4R English voice-cast announcement that every Social Link in Persona 4 Revival is fully voiced in the new English dub. The five named English voice actors so far are Nazeeh Tarsha (Yu), Paul Castro Jr. (Yosuke), Anne Yatco (Chie), Brianna Knickerbocker (Yukiko), and Ari Thrash (Marie). English voice actors for the remaining party and supporting cast have not been announced as of 2026-06-29.
